About James Miller

James Miller was a Community Bank president in Iowa. As a community leader he also enjoyed civic service and volunteering as a fireman, first responder, and emergency rescue technician. His greatest joy in banking was enabling people to buy a home.

With Miller’s history in giving back to his neighbors, he has decided to continue that path here at Lakeside by joining the Chapala Bomberos (volunteer firemen). His background in aviation and drones helped him to initiate thermal image aerial observation to the fire, search and rescue team. Jim feels that drones could also be useful to his customers and clients in their search for homes.

Miller says, “Like many of us here at Lakeside, my residential geographical history is varied. I have lived as far north as Nome Alaska and as far south as Cuenca Ecuador. I have lived on both US coasts. I have finally found my Shangri-La here at lake Chapala, Mexico! To fully appreciate what we have here, you have to experience many places. My greatest pleasure will be helping others to find their home here.”
